What Is LSI Water Chemistry Testing, and Why Does It Matter?

LSI stands for Langelier Saturation Index. It reads pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, water temperature, and total dissolved solids together to show whether your water is balanced, scaling, or corroding your pool surface. Every Pool Clean visit starts with a full LSI test rather than a quick strip dip, because a strip can show fine chlorine while the water is quietly damaging your tile or plaster.
